Baking soda is a versatile household item that can also be used as a supplement in aquariums to maintain a healthy and clean environment for your aquatic pets. In this guide, we will discuss how to safely add baking soda to your aquarium, the proper amount to use, and the benefits it offers to your fish and other aquatic life.

Be consistent: Aquatic plants, love consistency, regular water changes, adding the same amount of fertiliser each time* and on a regular bases and a power timer for your light system, will go a very long way to helping you grow lush aquarium plants.
Blue Mystery Snails, are a popular choice for aquariums (easily our favourite snail) due to their bright blue shells and peaceful demeanor. These snails are active and hardy, making them a great choice for beginner aquarists. Blue Mystery Snails prefer a temperature range of 21-27° c  and a pH between 7.0-8.0, and require a high level of dissolved oxygen, which can be achieved through proper aeration in the tank. These snails are very easy to control the population of, as they produce eggs above the waterline.
