Crypt petchii

Crypt. Petchii is an easy, beginner-friendly plant. It is tolerant of a variety of water conditions. Making it an excellent plant for any aquarium.

Petchii is a small variety of Crypt Beckettii from Sri Lanka. It has beautiful, fluted leaf margins, 10 - 15 cm (4 - 6 inches) long; leaves become dark olive-brown with a violet underside. Don’t get in its way once rosettes form after the plant settles in your tank, it quickly spreads and forms dense bushes.

But note, once planted, do not move them; they will not like it. They will respond with the famous, Crypt Melt. In a mature aquarium, they usually come back. In one that is new or in flux, it is not likely to survive. But no need to lose sleep over it! Once established, they are very hardy and will live a long life in your aquarium.
