Sera siporax consists of sintered glass with a special three-dimensional pore structure for maximum surface increase. At the same time, the fine pores provide ideal settling conditions for bacteria that break down pollutants.

Organic waste are processed by your fish, strong filter media is required to turn this waste from harmful and toxic ammonia into nitrite and then into a less toxic and harmful nitrate. 

Sera Siporax is perfect for this, with its high porosity allowing for maximum bacteria growth, allowing for a healthier, cleaner aquarium for your wet pets. 

300g, should provide adequate biological filtration for a normally stocked 200L aquarium. 

150g,  should provide adequate biological filtration for a normally stocked 100L aquarium.
