I bought the 12 piece option as the jump to the next size seemed quite extreme. I have a 400ltr tank and so with it being within koo-ey thought it'd be OK. I put them into my external canister filter, and while following the instructions to ensure that they're not compressed, they didnt cover the full width of the tray with very visible gaps. I'm not running a massive filter (its a SunSun), and its taken a good few weeks to get "clean" water (its better than what it was prior to, but its always got something floating around in it).

Get an amount inbetween the two options, you'll get 5 stars :)

saw this product when I was looking for fine filter sponge kind of thing for my hopeless dirty water fish tank. I couldn't find many user reviews about this product on the internet but wow.....these green fluffy balls are amazing!!!!! it caught so much rubbish from the water and I am surprised how dirty the water is lol...and then I just wash and reuse again and again...highly recommended

Yes i find it good. Only use 2 bits in small filter. Seems it work ok.
