pH (potential of hydrogen) is a calculation of hydrogen ion concentration. The pH scale ranges from 0-14, zero being acidic and 14 being alkaline, in an aquarium environment different inhabitants require more alkaline conditions. pH Up is designed to increase pH in the aquarium that certain fish and other inhabitants require as some aquariums require a pH up to 8.4 on the pH scale. PH Up is an acidic solution designed to raise pH in treated tap water to your requirements. Replicating specific environments reduces stress for your fish, helps fish health and reproduction systems.
Dosing: Add 6mL per 100Litres of aquarium water. Wait 1-3 hours for pH to stabilize, re-test and then (if required) add another dose based on the amount that pH increased from the initial 6mL/100L dose. Dose in a high flow area of your aquarium or sump, do not exceed 0.2 daily.
