White Worm Culture

White worms (Enchytraeus albidus) are small worms, like earthworms but white and 3 – 4 cm in length. Use as live or frozen food for cultured aquatic species. White worms do not impair water quality when added to aquariums.

Under natural conditions, they are composters'. And, feed on decaying plants and animal matter. White worms are a good source for n-3 long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids and are high in protein. They wriggle and attract predators. Helping fish, amphibians and small aquatic reptiles to be active as they "hunt" for food.

All cultures come with instructions for feeding and maintaining a healthy colony
